Proposal for Processing of Application for Grant of Accreditation
A large number of applications are received for grant of accreditation by Accreditation Branch through out the year. The grant of accreditation is a continuous process and requires about 2-3 months to complete it. It involves scrutiny of applications forms consideration of the applications in Screening Board, constitution of inspection teams, visit to the schools for inspection and final clearance from Accreditation Advisory Committee.
A time schedule for processing the application form will help to streamline, monitor and disseminate the information whenever required. The schedule for processing of application form is submitted as below :

The processing of Applications Every Year will be done as follows
I. Applications received in January/February/March

| Inspection – 60 days | 10th April-10th June |
| AAC & release of Accreditation Letter | 15-25th June |
II. Application received in April/May/June
| Screening Board meeting | By 07th of July |
| Inspection | 10th July-10th Sept. |
| AAC & release of Accreditation | 15th-25th Sept. |
III. Application received in July/August/September
| Screening Board meeting | By 07th of Oct. |
| Inspection | 10th Oct.-10th Dec. |
| AAC & release of Accreditation | 15th-25th December |
IV. Application received in October/November/December
| Screening Board meeting | By 07th of Jan. |
| Inspection | 10th Jan.-10th March |
| AAC & release of Accreditation | 15th-25th March |
Thus, application received upto 31st March, of any year, will be eligible for taking admission for the forthcoming Academic session.
For example, applications
received upto March 2005 will be eligible for taking admission for the Academic
Session 2005-2006.
