Appointment of Academic Facilitators for NIOS

To supplement the functioning of Regional Centres and to have better interaction with the Accredited Institutions (AIs), NIOS envisaged the concept of Academic Facilitation. Such facilitation is conceptualized to be carried out by personnel [known as Academic Facilitator(AF)] having experience and expertise in the field of education/educational administration. Each Academic Facilitator will be assigned the responsibility of facilitating and monitoring the working of a few AIs in his/her area. He/She will be required to visit an AI twice during admission, three times during Personal Contact Programmes and twice during examination. With the help of such Academic Facilitators, guidance and support will be extended not only to the AI’s functioning as study centers but also to the learners visiting the AI.
NIOS therefore, invites application for the appointment of Academic Facilitators from senior/experienced Academicians and Educators below the age of 69 years on a Prescribed Proforma. Interested applicants may download the prescribed proforma fill it up and submit the same to the Director, Student Support Services, A-38, Kailash Colony, New Delhi-48.
